Chocolate Chip Cookie Frosting Shots

A frosting shot is typically just a little shot glass like container filled with delicious frosting - for those who love the frosting w/o those pesky pieces of cake I assume. Since I make a great vodka frosting I thought it would be a fun idea to make an actual liquor infused frosting shot. Then I decided it would be great to make a frosting cocktail and why not make an edible "shot glass"? I ended up with a chocolate chip cookie shell to hold my dessert cocktail.

Cookie cups with their creamy, chocolaty, mocha Kahlua deliciousness.

Topped with a shot of Pinnacle Whipped vodka frosting.
Sprinkled with some of my magic mocha powder (i.e. crack).
Topped off with a maraschino cherry like any good cocktail.
Aren't they pretty?

They sure are yummy! I brought these and Strawberry Shortcake Martinis to a party. I didn't use this exact recipe, but this is very similar to what I used for mine. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of my martini in an actual martini glass, but this will give you the general idea: The Slow Roasted Italian Blog: Strawberry Shortcake Martini Recipe
